Third information seminar for teachers and students in schools in Gotse Delchev
On May 29, 2019 in the conference room of Vocational School “Dimitar Talev” in Gotse Delchev Association Eco Nevrokop organized an INFORMATION SEMINAR as part of an awareness campaign for better water management and its protection, formation of ecological awareness and prevention of pollution of water. Two studies have been presented – exploring the attitude of the target groups towards water resources, their conservation, efficient use and management, as well as survey of good practices for water resource use and management.
The seminar was intended for teachers and students in schools as well as for all who are interested in the topic of conservation and pollution of the water and the general public. The presented studies, as well as the objectives of the project, provoked a discussion on World ocean pollution, the need for waste recycling and the dependence of mankind on the biggest pollutant – the plastic.
The seminar is organized under the Best Water Use project with implementation deadline of 01.10.2019. It aims to promote innovative technologies to improve environmental protection and the efficient use of water resources, as well as the protection of the soils.
The main objectives of the information seminar were to promote “green behaviour” in the field of water management, presenting existing innovative methods / technologies and forming a comprehensive educational policy in local self-government.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the national funds of the countries participating in the “Greece – Bulgaria 2014-2020” Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A.
