On May 30, 2019 in the Event Hall of Kindergarten “Sun” in Gotse Delchev, Association Eco Nevrokop organized an Informational Seminar as part of an awareness campaign for better water management and its conservation, formation of ecological awareness and prevention of water pollution. The seminar was intended for teachers and children in kindergartens, as well as for all who are interested in the topic of conservation and pollution of the water and the general public.
Two studies have been included in the Seminar’s program – public attitudes to water resources, their conservation, effective use and management, and a survey of good practices on water use and management. For children animation was prepared with ecological messages, which they watched with interest several times. The seminar ended with the presentation of a floor game where the children played and learned important tips on how to save and store water at school and at home.
The seminar is organized under Best Water Use Project, with implementation deadline of 01.10.2019. The main objectives of the seminar were the promotion of “green behaviour” in the field of water management, presentation of existing innovative methods / technologies and the formation of a comprehensive educational policy in local self-government.
