SECOND AWARENESS SEMINAR IN GOTSE DELCHEV FOR BUSINESSES
On April 11, 2019 in the conference hall of hotel Nevrokop in Gotse Delchev, Association Eco Nevrokop organized an Informational Seminar as part of an awareness campaign for better water management and its conservation, the formation of environmental awareness and the prevention of water pollution. Two studies have been presented – exploring the attitude of the target groups towards water resources, their conservation, efficient use and management, as well as survey for good practices for water resource use and management in Bulgaria.
The main target groups associated with the event were business representatives, service companies, manufacturing firms, business supported and non-governmental organizations, and also the general public.
The seminar is organized under the Best Water Use project /BEST-U with implementation deadline of 01.10.2019. It aims to promote innovative technologies, to improve environmental protection and the efficient use of water resources, as well as the protection of the soils.
The main objectives of the information seminar were to promote “green behaviour” in the field of water management, presenting existing innovative methods / technologies and forming a comprehensive educational policy in local self-government.
