First information seminar for best use of water
On March 21, 2019 in the conference hall of hotel Nevrokop in Gotse Delchev, Association Eco Nevrokop organized an Informational Seminar as part of an awareness campaign for better water management and conservation, environmental awareness and water pollution prevention. Two studies have been presented – exploring the attitude of the target groups towards water resources, their conservation, efficient use and management, as well as survey for good practices for water resource use and management.
The main target groups with which the event was linked were farmers, micro-producers, representatives of agricultural services, and the general public.
The seminar is organized under the project Best Water Use/ acronym BEST-U with implementation deadline of 01.10.2019. It aims to promote innovative technologies to improve environmental protection and the efficient use of water resources, as well as the protection of the soils.
The main objectives of the information seminar were to promote “green behavior” in the field of water management, presenting existing innovative methods / technologies and forming a comprehensive educational policy in local self-government.
